Through forests and meadows to Mont Pèlerin

The pleasant hike on the outskirts of Lausanne covers a surprisingly varied landscape, and offers a splendid view from the  tower on Mont Pèlerin.

This easy hike is just perfect for starting off the hiking season. We’ll encounter the first signs of spring in nature, with new leaves on the trees and the first flowers.

From Palézieux we’ll hike gently up to Mont Chesau with its Jura-like meadows and its wide range of trees. On arrival at Mont Pèlerin, a lift will take us to the top of the Swisscom tower, where we can enjoy a spectacular view over Lake Geneva and the Savoie alps. We’ll then go down to Mont Pèlerin, where the funicular will take us down to Vevey.
