From the wild Gastlosen to the charming hills of the Simmental
In this two-day hike, experience the passage from one region to another with an overnight stay in a cosy alpine hut.
The Gastlosen Express cable car helps us to the gain the first 500 metres in altitude. Hiking through forest and meadows below the impressive walls of the Gastlosen, we’ll reach the cosy Grubenberghütte for our overnight stay (no showers, only running cold water).
Before we start our second hiking day, we’ll have the opportunity to see the traditional way of cheese making in the alpine diary. The hike leads us over vast meadows with grazing cows to the charming hills of the Simmental.
