Traditional Swiss festival in the Jura
Traditional Swiss sports are not represented at the Olympics, but attract at least as many spectators as the 100m sprint.
The traditional Swiss custom of schwingen/lutte Suisse is a highlight at the end of the hike. From La Tourne we go up to the vast pastures of the Jura to Mont Racine, where we enjoy the views down to the three lakes in the south and the flat Vallée de la Sagne in the north. On the Jura heights we also find the typical sole fir trees and dry stone walls.
