Spring hike in the Vully with wine tasting
The Vully region is a typical example of a man-made landscape: vineyards and vegetable fields.
The Vully region is a typical example of a man-made landscape: vineyards and vegetable fields. The hike first takes us through the vines up to Mont Vully, a landmark in the three-lake region. From the top we may see the vegetables growing in the fields, which were swampland a century ago.
We’ll continue to the village of Praz, where we will visit one of the numerous caves for a wine tasting session. During the wine tasting, we will be able to appreciate the work necessary in the vineyard to guarantee a quality product in the glass after harvesting and maturation in the barrel. A pleasant stroll brings us back to Sugiez.
The initial dates of the Vully vine-tasting hike, 12 April and the daffodil hike, 27 April have been swapped, as the daffodils are in full bloom.
