On the other side of Lake Geneva

Looking out from the French side of the lake over to the Swiss side.

The hike gives you a different impression of Evian than a visit to the casino. We start the hike by following the tracks of the funicular and after a short time we leave the houses behind us. Most of the time we will walk in the forest, through the rustling leaves and enjoying the last colours of autumn. Through the trees we can glimpse the lake and the Lavaux on the Swiss side. The hike ends at the church of Véron from where a taxi brings us back to Evian.
