4 peaks in 1 day

The four peaks aren’t the highest in the country. Nevertheless they are still worth a visit.

You don’t need to put crampons or ropes in your backpack. The four peaks are each easily accessible and reach just 1,600 metres above sea level. Nevertheless you can enjoy views over the alps of Central Switzerland and the canton of Glarus. You can even leave your mark in the books placed at the top of peak.

From the Ibergeregg we gain some height and walk easily to our first peak, the Brünnelistock. From here we soon reach the Furggelenstock. A pleasant path through forests and meadows leads us to the Gschwändstock and further to the fourth peak, the Rengenegg.

It is a quite long hike, but there are no long and steep ascents. To cross the ridge of the Gschwändstock (about 15 minutes) you will need to feel confident about the narrow rocky trails going down on one side.
