From one pass to another over the heights of the Jura

The hike extends over two summits and links two passes on the Jura long-distance hiking trail.

The Jura crest hiking trail links Zurich and Geneva and shows a lesser-known part of Switzerland. Our day hike leads us in pleasant ups and downs over the vast pastures of the Jura, and we will also encounter the typical fir trees and dry stone walls.

The Vue des Alpes, our starting point, connects the lakeside and the mountains of the canton of Neuchatel. Shortly we will reach our first summit, the Tête de Ran. Before reaching La Tourne we will enjoy the view down from Mont Racine to the three lakes region in the south and the flat Vallée de la Sagne in the north.
